What Happens When The Vintage Runs Out?

We get asked this a lot but I don't think there's much danger of that happening just yet.


What you see on the washing line is the result of just one car boot sale.

Although they aren't always this good, yesterday's was definitely something special. How gorgeous are these velvet dresses?

Classy vintage labels like Eastex & Dereta. Tell me I don't need another vintage cape in my life!
(Caz, the fur trim on the Eastex coat is fake, a bit more practical in the rain.)

An array of colourful separates from the 1960s through to the 1980s.

And the perfect weather conditions for laundering them.

 I found this costume jewellery in a bag destined for the next jumble sale when we were helping the caretaker move some furniture at the church hall earlier this week and naturally bought the lot.

 Our problem isn't finding vintage, it's finding the space to store it all.  Fingers crossed that we sell lots we trade at Birmingham's biggest vintage event at Sutton Coldfield on Sunday (details HERE).
