Take a vintage maxi dress.
Unpick the centre seam from the hem, stopping when you get to around 4 inches below your crotch line.
Turn the dress inside out and pin the open front seam to the open back seam, creating legs.
Machine (or hand) sew along the pinned edges, turn inside out and ta...dah!
